A pair of straight candles dyed with Alkanna tinctoria and Rubia tincturum.

My candles are hand-cast from beeswax and colored with plant pigments.
I don't strive for perfection, but rather let them have their unique character.
The wax is local and comes from my nearest beekeeper. Cotton wick.

To get these really blood red, they are packed with pigment, which makes them flow more than other candles.
It is also part of its character.
Let them flow like blood and create beautiful patterns, place the candlestick on a dish or protected surface.

To remove beeswax residue from the candlestick, place it on a baking sheet in the oven at about 75° until it melts, or place it in a bowl of warm water. When the water has cooled, the beeswax will settle to the surface and is easy to remove.

Length approx. 28 cm.

Cut the wick to 1 cm so the flame burns evenly.

Never leave the lights unattended.
