A pair of beeswax candles Tussilago

A pair of straight Tussilago candles, naturally yellow with no added color pigment.
Instead, the bees have taken care of the pigmentation with some help from rapeseed flowers.

My candles are hand-cast from beeswax and colored with plant pigments. The beeswax gives a matte and slightly transparent surface. I do not strive for perfection in the form of straightness and smoothness, but rather let them have their unique character. The wax is local and comes from my nearest beekeeper. Wick made of cotton.

Length 25-30 cm

All of my candles fit in regular candlesticks, but since the diameter of the candle holder can vary, the advantage of beeswax is that it is soft and can be reshaped a little if you warm it in your hand or put the end in warm water for a few seconds.

Cut the wick to 1 cm so the flame burns just the right size.

Never leave the lights unattended.
