A pair of straight candles dyed with Alkanna tinctoria, which gives them a gray-pink-purple tone.
My candles are hand-cast from beeswax and colored with plant pigments.
I don't strive for perfection in the form of straightness and smoothness, but rather let them have their unique character.
The wax comes partly from my neighbor's bees, but I also use decolorized (with activated carbon) beeswax.
I intuitively mix different colors so the shades vary from time to time and each individual candle can have its own unique color shift. Cotton wick.
Length approx. 28 cm
All of my candles fit in regular candlesticks, but since the diameter of the candle holder can vary, the advantage of beeswax is that it is soft and can be reshaped a little if you warm it in your hand or put the end in warm water for a few seconds.
Cut the wick to 1 cm so the flame burns just the right size.
Never leave the lights unattended.
